Søndagsskolen #11 – Synlig reparation med Sting Service

What will we learn? For this special winter edition of Søndagsskolen, we will learn how to mend clothes by hand. Working with our own knitted garments, we will explore how simple stitches can make a repair.

During the afternoon, we will look at when and how something can be mended, and how three key components—a needle, thread and a little patience—can give clothing new life. We will try to understand mending as more than a way to fix what is worn or damaged: rather, as a way of caring for what we already have and trying to enhance its value.
