At last, it’s happening! The moment an entire nation has been waiting for. At a time like this, when all you need is to sit down, laugh and forget everything around you, there’s only one person who can take on this impossible task. And that’s the good old Nikolaj Stokholm.

With three successful shows behind him, expectations are sky-high. And he knows it. “To make 100% sure you have the funniest evening of your life, I’m bringing the unpredictable Stokkefar on stage too, of course. Is it the same person? Nobody knows. Everyone asks. But you won’t ask — because you have to see it.” Nikolaj Stokholm has taken Danish comedy by storm. Since his debut in 2007, he has become one of the country’s best-loved entertainers, with his offbeat, self-deprecating and unpredictable humour. His special ability to balance the absurd with warmth has made him a firm audience favourite across generations. Stokkefar, the whole of Denmark’s favourite, has filled venues and concert halls across the country, toured with three bestselling one-man shows — the latest sold 120,000 tickets — and has thereby cemented his position as one of the country’s most popular comedians. Now he is ready with his fourth one-man show, which he himself promises will be his funniest yet. And if you know Nikolaj Stokholm, that’s not just an empty cliché, but a promise he has no intention of backing out of.
