Masterclass: Speed up decisions with AI – Building Your Decision-Making System for Humans, Machines and AI

Masterclass: Speed up decisions with AI- Building Your Decision-Making System for Humans, Machines and AI 3 December 2026 AI is making analysis faster, data assets more numerous and recommendations easier to generate. Yet the hardest part remains unchanged: making good decisions.

This hands-on masterclass helps participants rethink how their organisations make decisions, from framing the right questions to evaluating evidence and defining what success looks like. Participants will develop a Decision Criteria Catalogue and simulate a real business decision, creating a practical foundation for combining human judgement, data and AI to drive meaningful business impact.

Designed for:

Marketing, analytics and business leaders from (enterprise) organisations who want to improve how their teams use data and AI to make decisions. Participants are largely employer-funded professionals looking to translate concepts into practical applications.

In this masterclass, you will learn:

The Decision-Making Challenge: Understand why more data, better dashboards and AI-generated insights don’t automatically lead to better decisions.

Frame the Decision: Learn to distinguish business problems from analytical questions and AI solutions. Define a concrete decision worth improving.

Define What Makes a Good Decision: Identify decision criteria, constraints and trade-offs. Explore how human judgement and machine intelligence complement each other.

Build Your Decision Criteria Catalogue: Work through a structured framework to define criteria, prioritise what matters and establish what evidence is needed.

Simulate the Decision: Apply the catalogue to a realistic business scenario. Evaluate alternatives against the criteria, discuss trade-offs and compare human judgement with AI-supported recommendations.

Operationalise Decision-Making: Identify how decision criteria can inform team processes, measurement, experimentation and AI adoption.

Reflection & Commitments: Define one concrete change to apply within the participant’s organisation.
