Copenhagen zoo

A dream oasis for the children near the heart of Copenhagen, in Frederiksberg. From small birds to big elephants, in various environments - tropical, nocturnal, those of African savannah or South American pampas.

The New Elefant House, designed by the renowned architect group Foster & Partners, can be one of those things that also grown-ups appreciate.

The zoo holds 3,500 animals of 250 species. Visitors can among other things watch the feeding of animals such as lions or chimpanzees, or get close to baby animals. In the Children's Zoo, the young ones can play with some animals and ride a pony. The zoo is open all year long.
