Workshop in Japanese embroidery and mending 🧵🌸🎌 19 January 2027 from 17:00 to 19:30 In Japanese sashiko embroidery and boro mending, function and poetry come together. Here, the imperfect, the worn and the lived-in are celebrated.

At this workshop, you’ll get a taste of both techniques.

Sashiko means “small stitches”, and each stitch becomes a small witness to time, care and free creative energy. Boro mending means “patch upon patch”; by using offset patches and sashiko stitches, you create a completely unique look, where the visible repair becomes a little work of art in itself. 🧵✨
