Ophelia Sangill + Ludvig Šmidl + PROJECT: Mélange

What happens when two classical guitarists bring their virtuoso skills to another genre? For Ludvig Šmidl and Ophelia Sangill, the answer was PROJECT: Mélange.

A band where classical guitar, electric guitar, vocals and drums meet in a musical universe between progressive rock, post-rock and dreamy soundscapes.

PROJECT: Mélange’s first album draws on the dark, mythological universe of H.P. Lovecraft. It is not intended as a soundtrack to Lovecraft’s stories, but rather as a musical exploration of the creatures, forces and elements found in his universe.
