Dinnerkoncert – Dodo synger Benny Andersen

Dodo Synger Benny Andersen. Can Svante be a woman?

You can find the answer to this question and other observations about the tribulations of female Svantes at a concert with Dodo, performing her interpretations of Benny Andersen’s "Svantes viser".

In 2009, Dodo met Benny Andersen while working on a project for Unicef, where Benny and Dodo performed together.

After countless requests and a lengthy process, Dodo’s first solo release, the CD "DodoBennyBossa", came out in 2011.

Dodo had fallen head over heels for the humorous pessimism of the Svante songs, whose music felt entirely at home in the melancholic, jazzy tones of bossa nova.

Since then, between her work with Dodo & the Dodos, she has performed a selection of the classic Svante songs from her first gently swinging solo CD.

It will be an evening celebrating bossa nova, Benny Andersen and female Svantes!

Dodo will be joined by Jeppe Holst (guitar) and Jens Rud (bass, percussion).

Before the concert, a welcome snack and a 2-course concert menu will be served (main course and dessert).

If you would like a vegetarian menu, please email [email protected].

The doors to the bar area open at 17:30, and the hall and your table will be ready at 18:00.

Dinner will be served at approximately 18:30, after which Dodo will take to the stage.

The concert ends at approximately 22:00.
