TEGNEHOLD FOR BØRN (11-13 ÅR)
AUTUMN 2026
This autumn, you can improve your drawing skills at Thorvaldsens Museum! We are starting a drawing class for children aged 11–13 with drawing tutor and artist Anne Louise Blicher. What is it about? The drawing class is for anyone aged 11–13 who would like to improve their drawing skills. You will learn some basic drawing techniques that are useful tools for developing your skills. Places in the class are limited, so there is plenty of time for everyone to receive guidance. For the final session, we will hold an exhibition opening at the museum at 16.00, where the children and their accompanying adults are welcome to join us for a toast and a viewing of the works they have created. Where do we meet? We meet in the museum’s workshop space, GIPSERIET, on the basement level. The lessons take inspiration from the museum’s beautiful sculptures, rooms and objects. You can therefore expect to draw in different parts of the museum. Price: 900 kr. for 6 sessions. The ticket price includes a snack at each session. Age group: 11–13 years. Lessons take place from 15.00–16.45 on the following dates: 20.10.2026, 27.10.2026, 3.11.2026, 10.11.2026, 17.11.2026, 24.11.2026: Exhibition opening with the participants and their accompanying adults from 16.00–17.00.

ABOUT THE TUTOR Anne Louise Blicher is a visual artist who trained in classical painting at Florence Academy of Art in Gothenburg and Florence and holds a postgraduate qualification in Fine Arts from Kungliga Konsthögskolan in Stockholm. Her practice centres on a sculptural approach to painting, exploring the body’s relationship with space, architecture and nature through materials and techniques such as enamel, cork and monotype. She works at the intersection of classical painting techniques and a contemporary, sustainable understanding of materials. As a drawing tutor, she teaches the classical academic drawing tradition, focusing on observation, proportions and the ability to see the subject as simple shapes and relationships. The lessons are based on drawing from plaster casts and follow the same fundamental principles that formed part of Thorvaldsen’s own training at Kunstakademiet.
