As a little boy in Baghdad, Adnan was the perfect Arab.

So perfect, in fact, that he ended up singing Happy Birthday to the dictator Saddam Hussein on Iraqi national television.

But then everything took a dramatic turn.

His family moved to Viborg, and he really became Danish.

He forgot his mother tongue just as quickly as he forgot the unwritten Arab rules, and suddenly he was a bona fide haram-boy.??

Verdens Dårligste Araber is a satirical, personal show about and by Adnan Al-Adhami, who has lost touch with his roots in an attempt not to lose himself.

On stage, Adnan is disarmingly honest in his debut show, telling a story with humour and courage that touches both the heart and, in particular, the funny bone.
