With their debut album Magnolia and singles such as "Sitt Ner (Lilla Jag)" and "Älskar Dig (Oändligt Föralltid)", Nektar established themselves in record time as one of Sweden’s most acclaimed and talked-about bands.

The Gothenburg band quickly became a natural part of the Swedish indie rock scene and built a fanbase with a devotion and loyalty that are rare today.

Since starting out in early 2024, Nektar have sold out concerts across the country and been named Breakthrough of the Year by GAFFA.

In 2025, the band took another big step forward.

After closing Stay Out West with a headline concert at Pustervik, they released their second album, 'Om du behöver mig' -- an album that cemented their position as one of Sweden’s most influential new rock bands.

The album was warmly received by both audiences and the press, and was followed by a sold-out autumn tour.

The album and Nektar are now nominated for three Grammys -- Rock of the Year, Newcomer of the Year and Music Video of the Year.
