Justina la Cour & Friends: E. Chausson Concerto for violin, piano & string quartet with Marina Saiki; G. Enescu Octet

Justina la Cour, “Dornonville Strings” and “Den Sorte Diamant” are delighted to present a newly formed string ensemble comprising outstanding young star musicians with extraordinary talent and artistic depth.

The ensemble was founded with a shared ambition to push boundaries, immerse themselves in the richness of music and bring chamber music of the highest calibre to audiences.

At this concert in Den Sorte Diamant, “Dornonville Strings” and the soloists present a demanding, beautiful and highly varied programme — rich in sonority, contrasts and intensity — ranging from the intimate and poetic to the virtuosic and explosive. An evening where passion, precision and youthful energy come together in a musical experience that both moves and delights.
