Barbara Hendricks og Prinsens Musikkorps

An evening with a living opera legend When Prinsens Musikkorps invites the American-Swedish soprano Barbara Hendricks to perform in concert, the stage is set for a world-class musical event.

Hendricks is one of the 20th century’s most brilliant opera stars, whose voice continues to fascinate audiences to this day.

The evening’s conductor is the world-famous Swedish trombonist and conductor Christian Lindberg, who has a long and close working relationship with Hendricks. The two have performed together all over the world, and this concert brings together two artists who know each other inside out – and who inspire each other to new heights.

The programme features selected music by Mozart, Bizet, Manuel de Falla and Tjajkovskij, among others – colourful, dramatic and fiery music that provides the perfect setting for Barbara Hendricks’ unique artistry and voice.

A unique opportunity to experience a living legend – together with one of Denmark’s most versatile orchestras.
