At Paradise Jazz, she is joined on stage by pianist Magnus Hjorth, bassist Anders Fjeldsted and drummer Andreas Svendsen.

Together, they explore Bergcrantz’s musical universe, which moves freely between jazz, experimental pop, Swedish folk music and classical impressionism.

With Bergcrantz’s crystal-clear vocals at its heart, the various influences merge into an evocative and wondrous sound.

Iris Bergcrantz has released four albums under her own name.

Young Dreams was nominated for a Danish Music Award for Vocal Jazz Album of the Year in 2020, while Trasighet och Fransar, released in 2022, was nominated at Manifestgalan in the Jazz of the Year category.

Most recently, she released Vi fanns förut, which received excellent reviews.

She has performed at jazz venues and festivals across much of the world, including A-Trane in Berlin and the Rochester International Jazz Festival in the USA.

With the vocal group Åkervinda, she has also performed at the Sydney Opera House.

The group was nominated for a Swedish Grammy in 2019 and won a DMA in 2024.” www.paradisejazz.dk
