ActivityDating is a fun live dating concept where participants regularly change seats and do an activity with other singles. This time, the activities are games and Christmas crafts.

At ActivityDating, it’s possible to meet both new friends and potential dates. The focus is on getting to know each other through an enjoyable shared activity, but matching is also included, with the option of both friend matches and date matches.

You’ll be greeted by a smiling host, who will give you your welcome materials and tell you where to mingle with the other participants of your gender while you wait for us to get started.

Before we begin, there’ll be a short introduction covering all the practical information, so you’ll be well prepared for the event.

At ActivityDating, you’ll have the chance to meet other singles in your age group on relaxed group dates. Each group date lasts 25 minutes, and during each round you’ll play a game that we’ve selected for the occasion. It could be anything from Jenga to UNO, but what all the games have in common is that you’ll have time to play them during the date. There will also be the option of doing Christmas crafts instead of playing a game at this event.

There’ll be a 10-minute break to finish the games after each date, during which participants will also change seats. Seats are allocated according to signs showing the different games and activities. Each participant chooses a new sign showing a game or activity before each round. The back of the sign shows the number of the table you should sit at in the next round.

During the event, you’ll fill in a matching form, ticking whether you’d like to stay in touch with each of the other singles afterwards. Our matching form for this event has been expanded to offer the option of making both a “date match” and a “friend match”. This means you can make new friends and/or find a date — it’s entirely up to you which boxes you tick. You can match with all participants, including those of your own gender, so connections can be made across the group.

1–2 days after the event, you’ll receive an email with information about your matches. A match means that both you and your date have ticked “Yes” for each other on the matching form. If you have one or more matches, the date number, first name and telephone number will be included in the email. It will also be clearly stated whether it’s a “date match” or a “friend match”.

From there, it’s up to you to keep in touch and arrange to meet again.

If the event is sold out: Remember that you can join the waiting list if your category is sold out. You’ll then receive an email if more tickets become available. We add tickets on an ongoing basis as places fill up for both genders, to ensure a good gender balance.

Important information and conditions: - Please note: This event is only for singles aged 20–30.

- You MUST be in the age group to take part. We reserve the right to ask for ID and refuse your participation if you are not in the age group. Your ticket will not be refunded.

- The doors open half an hour before the event starts.

- You may not bring your own food and drink to the event. Drinks can be purchased at the venue.

- If the ticket is given or resold, the person receiving it MUST be of the same gender and in the same age group as the original ticket buyer.

- We will refund the ticket, including the booking fee, if the event is cancelled.
