Vinterkoncert & Lucia med KONUR
WINTER CONCERT & LUCIA WITH KONUR 13 DECEMBER AT 7 PM (CONCERT STARTS AT 8 PM) Enjoy an atmospheric Lucia evening as KONUR invites you to a winter concert in the museum’s magnificent entrance hall.
The concert takes place alongside the special exhibition Liv, længsel & landskab – Thorvaldsens Malerisamling, featuring works by internationally acclaimed but lesser-known artists from Italy, Germany, Hungary and elsewhere. As a special musical link to the exhibition – and with Lucia as an Italian saint – KONUR performs a folk song from Sardinia with roots in the Catholic requiem mass. KONUR has a rich and varied repertoire, including folk and world music from Georgia, Corsica, Bulgaria and Ukraine. Spend a Sunday evening in the glow of the lights and let the atmosphere of winter and Christmas settle in amid the museum’s beautiful surroundings. You are welcome to arrive early: the exhibition Liv, længsel & landskab – Thorvaldsens Malerisamling can be seen before the concert. The doors open at 7 pm, so you can arrive from this time onwards and explore the exhibition on the first floor before the concert begins at 8 pm.
