Social Urban Run Nørrebro

Experience Copenhagen’s graffiti scene on a 7-kilometre run at a pace everyone can manage, with plenty of breaks along the way.

WHAT Based on several of SPYO’s works, graffiti connoisseur René Bode has designed running routes in Nordvest/Nørrebro and Amager/Christianshavn. Along the way, he will talk about the art, the city’s development and the areas we pass through. We make our way through neighbourhoods, courtyards and overlooked urban spaces, where SPYO’s texts appear among building sites, concrete and old industrial areas.

WHO René Bode is one of the people who knows most about what is happening on Copenhagen’s graffiti scene and the hidden sides of the city. Every day, he documents new artists, works and impressions through his Instagram account. He sees everything, or has it sent to him. It all comes to life on carefully planned running routes, and now you have the chance to join him on one of them.

ABOUT THE RUN The route is 7 km long and takes around 1.5 hours. The focus is not on pace or performance – everyone should be able to join in and get a new experience of the city. Think urban trail meets city walk…

WHERE The Nordvest/Nørrebro route starts and finishes beneath the elevated railway at Folmer Bendtsens Plads 3.
