Sinnes jul

SINNES JUL Denmark’s biggest jazz star, Sinne Eeg, offers a heart-warming story about how she experiences Christmas.

For the occasion, the international singer and a couple of the country’s finest musicians have created a varied and entertaining repertoire.

Sinne Eeg is an enthusiastic devotee of Christmas and all that comes with it: lights, cosiness, togetherness and songs.

Through her personal and humorous account of her experience of Christmas, she shares her sparkling joy in the festive season with the audience.

As well as the singing voice most of us use to bring Christmas to life, the trumpet is an indispensable instrument at this time of year.

That is why Sinne has invited Danish trumpet legend Jesper Riis—known as an arranger and for his collaborations with the country’s biggest artists—to join her on stage.

Together with Ben Webster Award winner and former Shu-bi-dua member Jacob Christoffersen on piano, the trio reaches for the Christmas star when it comes to musical quality and warm, lively rapport.

The concert features Danish, American and French songs that most people know, as well as newer Christmas songs with the makings of future classics.

Five-time DMA Award winner Sinne Eeg captivates audiences around the world—from China to the USA—with her virtuoso singing, charming performances and “dark, soft” Scandinavian sound.

Beautifully framed by Jacob and Jesper, a complete concert experience is assured in what is arguably the country’s most beautiful setting.
