Navratri 2026
Namaste everyone! We welcome you to Navratri 2026 by FIIDA. Through Navratri, we celebrate a culture that still worships the sacred feminine in the form of the Mother Goddess. We look forward to welcoming you to this celebration of gender equality and feminism.
Please note the important points below: 1) Entry to the event premises will close by 17:00. Our programme will start at 15:00. Please arrive on time, as we will have various cultural activities between 15:00 and 16:45. These include Chandi Paath, Navratri Havan & Yagna, Kanya Pujan and a few cultural performances.
2) Mother Goddess Aarti & Garba Play will begin at 16:45.
3) Dress code: traditional Indian dress (please try to follow this, but it is not mandatory).
4) You will be able to buy vegetarian food, chai, water, soft drinks, juices and food suitable for fasting at the venue. W 5) Please arrive on time to gain entry to the event.
6) Please note that tickets are non-refundable.
7) We will donate the surplus to a selected charity.
8) Please note that this is an alcohol-free event.
9) You will be able to buy Dandiya sticks at the venue, or you can bring your own.
10) If you wish to offer fruit and sweets to the Goddess that can be served as prasad, you are welcome to do so. Please let us know in advance what you will be bringing. These must be brought before 16:00 CET; only then will they be considered for offering to the Goddess.
As this is a community event, attendees will be taking photographs and videos of the event. We hope everyone attending is aware of this. We look forward to welcoming you to celebrate the different forms of the Mother Goddess with us.
