HYD brings art-pop to BETA. HYD is a critically acclaimed pop project in which music, art and performance merge into a single, unified expression.

Behind the name is American artist Hayden Dunham, who quickly attracted attention with her debut album Clearing (2022) for its uncompromising blend of captivating pop, experimental sound and striking visual worlds.

Before HYD, Dunham became known for boundary-pushing art projects such as QT and the viral “Hey QT” energy drink collaboration, as well as large-scale public artworks around the world.

Critics have praised Dunham’s work for its ability to move freely between disciplines.

W Magazine called her “the art world’s new ingénue”, while The New York Times described the works as “art you can inhale and drink”.

With HYD, this multidisciplinary approach is transferred directly to pop music, where sound, images and stage performance are treated as one coherent experience.

HYD’s music revolves around shifting states -- destruction, regeneration, growth and emergence -- creating an emotional and transformative expression.

The second album, 'HOLD ONTO ME INFINITY,' expands this universe with more glittering songwriting and a constant sense of movement.

HYD has performed live in unusual locations such as on rooftops, in caves, at museums and festivals, as well as on traditional stages.

Along the way, she has shared the stage with artists such as Charli XCX, SOPHIE, A.

G.

Cook, Caroline Polachek and Sega Bodega.

HYD sits at the crossroads of music, art and community -- and invites the audience into a world that can be heard, seen and felt.
