Create your own drag persona in one weekend Have you always been fascinated by drag? Do you dream of learning the techniques behind those spectacular looks, or would you like to develop your own drag persona?

In this intensive 2-day Drag Makeup Masterclass, LEGACY BEAUTY and Di Di Cancerella invite you into the wonderful world of drag.

Over a full weekend, you will learn how to build a drag character from scratch through makeup, attitude and personal style. The course combines demonstrations, theory and plenty of practical work, giving you the chance to try out the techniques yourself.

The course is for everyone, regardless of experience, gender or identity. You do not need to have tried drag before – just a desire to be creative and challenge yourself.

Day 1

The foundations

We start from scratch and work with the techniques that make drag makeup so striking.

Topics include: • What is drag?

• The history of drag • Facial analysis • Brow blocking • Contouring and highlighting • Drag foundation • Eye shapes • Colour theory • Big eyes • Cut crease • Glitter • Lashes • Lips • Individual guidance There will be demonstrations along the way before you work with the techniques yourself.

Day 2

Create your character

On day two, we build on the makeup and develop your character.

Topics include: • Styling • Choosing a wig • Jewellery and accessories • Costume • Drag attitude • Posing • Performance • Stage tips • Photo session • Feedback We finish the weekend with photos and a presentation of all participants’ looks.
