Join us on a journey to the Moon as the Máni mission leaders explain how they plan to map the Moon's surface and support future astronauts and lunar bases. The Máni mission will take Danish space exploration to new heights as the first Danish space mission to leave Earth's orbit and travel all the way to the Moon. From its orbit around the Moon, Máni will map the Moon's surface in unprecedented detail, enabling the satellite to play a crucial role in preparations to send astronauts and robots to the Moon within the next few years. This evening, we are delighted to welcome the Máni mission leaders: lunar and Mars researcher at the University of Copenhagen, Jens Frydenvang, and Chief Technology Officer at Space Inventor, Peter Davidsen. Together, they will discuss the mission's opportunities and challenges, and how the satellite places entirely new demands on technology, collaboration and Denmark's entire space strategy.
