Caroline Henderson Julekoncert

Caroline Henderson once again invites audiences to her atmospheric Christmas concerts, when she visits churches and concert halls across the country in late 2026. Caroline Henderson’s Christmas concerts are a truly special experience.

On stage, she is joined by pianist Nikolaj Hess and guitarist Gustaf Ljunggren, creating an intimate, sensory space where the music can unfold and the warmth of Christmas comes to the fore. For many, the concerts have become a cherished tradition — a place where the pace slows and there is room for calm. Year after year, the trio captures the special magic of meeting the audience and creates an experience people return to. Caroline Henderson says of the concerts: “For me, Christmas is a moment of presence and reflection. When we play, something truly special happens — as if time stands still and the music can speak directly to the heart. That’s the feeling I’m looking forward to sharing with the audience again.”

When Caroline Henderson’s vocals fill the church, an intense and intimate connection with the audience emerges. The repertoire draws on familiar songs and hymns from Denmark and abroad, which are given new life through personal interpretations. The performance moves between the quiet and the intense, and each evening takes shape through a lively interplay with the audience. After one of last year’s Christmas concerts, Berlingske awarded her five stars: “She makes the blood bubble in your ears, whatever the genre. And she does it with charm, confidence and curls in full bloom. Caroline Henderson is something as rare as a self-proclaimed diva who has the talent to back it up. She can even serve up a Christmas hit as if it were Michelin-starred music at the bedside.” ***** - Berlingske
