Barolo & Friends Event

On Monday 19 April 2027, Barolo & Friends Event will be held in Copenhagen for the 18th time. The event takes place in Operaens Foyer on Holmen, and almost 40 wine producers from Piedmont are expected to attend.

Piedmont is one of Italy’s most important wine regions and one of the most highly regarded in the world. It is a fertile area with particularly favourable conditions for producing exceptional wines. At this event, the producers will personally present their wines to Danish wine lovers. You will be able to taste Barolo, Barbaresco, Nebbiolo, Barbera and other fine wines from Piedmont. Barolo & Friends Event is a “walk-around tasting”, where each producer has their own table showcasing their selection from the more than 250 different labels on display that day.

In 2027, Barolo & Friends is strengthening its institutional partnerships and presenting Associazione Produttori del Nizza as an official partner. A dedicated shared tasting table will showcase Nizza DOCG, the ultimate expression of the Barbera grape, characterised by great structure, complexity and exceptional ageing potential.

As in previous years, the event will be divided into three different sessions. The first session will be reserved exclusively for the professional wine trade, while the following two sessions will be open to consumers with a valid ticket:

You will be given a tasting glass at the entrance, so you’ll be all set to spend a couple of enjoyable hours in the company of Barolo and its “friends” – the wines from the other areas of Piedmont. Come and taste these exclusive wines and find your favourite.
