SUMMARY:WARHAUS
LOCATION:Amager Bio\, Øresundsvej 6\, 2300 København S
DESCRIPTION:Warhaus\, the musical project of Maarten Devoldere\, returns
with The Donkey and a new tour that brings him to Amager Bio.\n\nThe albu
m marks a new chapter in his distinctive world of dark\, sophisticated po
p.\n\nWhile previous releases often leaned into the elegant and cinematic
\, these new songs carry a more immediate and physical energy.\n\nHypnoti
c lyrics\, raw vocals\, and rhythms inspired by South African Gqom come t
ogether in a sound that is both captivating and unpredictable.\n\nThe sin
gles Simple Pleasures and The Baby point in different directions\, highli
ghting the album's range.\n\nOne gravitates towards the stylish and melod
ic\, while the other embraces something more intense and unruly.\n\nOn st
age\, however\, it is not a question of one or the other.\n\nWarhaus brin
gs these contrasts together and allows them to coexist.\n\nAudiences can
look forward to a concert where new material from The Donkey meets the so
ngs that have established Warhaus as one of the leading names on the Euro
pean indie and art-pop scene.\n\nThe result is a live show that moves bet
ween reflection and momentum\, between careful composition and instinctiv
e spontaneity.\n\nWith The Donkey\, Warhaus opens the door to a universe
where control and chaos constantly challenge one another\, and where the
music is free to take unexpected turns.
