DESCRIPTION:Description\n\nThree evenings of sashiko\, boro and Japanese 
 desserts\n\nOver three Tuesday evenings\, we’ll immerse ourselves in Ja
 panese sashiko embroidery and boro mending\, while enjoying three differe
 nt Japanese desserts\, such as mochi from the brilliant Mochi Time in Tor
 vehallerne.\n\nSashiko and boro both celebrate the imperfect\, the worn a
 nd the lived-in 🪡\n\nEach Tuesday\, a new Japanese cake or dessert is 
 introduced\, along with a unique Japanese tea.\n\nI recommend bringing th
 e same piece of cotton or denim fabric each time – perhaps worn or with
  holes\, as sashiko and boro traditionally aim to extend the life of text
 iles ♻️ It could be a shirt\, denim jacket or pair of trousers that y
 ou’d like to honour by preserving and embellishing over our three eveni
 ngs together.\n\nIda from YUME.ITO has travelled to Japan several times\,
  expanding her knowledge of sashiko\, boro and indigo dyeing.\n\nIntroduc
 tion to sashiko 📅 2 February\, 17.00–19.30\n\nIda begins with an int
 roduction to the history\, philosophy and distinctive aesthetic of sashik
 o 🧵\n\nMeanwhile\, you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself i
 n the classic rice-grain stitch and experience the meditative\, flowing r
 hythm of the running stitches.\n\nThen everyone chooses a pattern and get
 s guidance on how to draw it directly onto the fabric ✏️ Once you’v
