 om 18:00 to 20:30 (doors open at 17:30\, as always).\n\nDuring the autumn
  season\, Rahbeks saloner at Vartov focus on the interplay between cultur
 e and nature\, exploring a range of major European literary works from th
 is perspective. On 21 October\, Rasmus Vangshardt\, associate professor o
 f literary history at the University of Oslo and co-founder of Rahbeks\, 
 will explore Henrik Pontoppidan’s Lykke-Per for us. Economics student P
 eter Wislund Hansen from the youth forum AGORA will give a passionate tal
 k about why young people should read Pontoppidan’s masterpiece.\n\nAs a
 lways\, Rahbeks saloner feature one or more speakers of the highest profe
 ssional calibre\, with exceptionally engaging and inquisitive company. Re
 freshments\, typically coffee\, tea and water\, are served before and dur
 ing the salon\, followed by a glass of wine for the social mingling at th
 e end. Folk poetry and communal singing from the folk high school songboo
 k always lend a magical touch to Rahbeks saloner.\n\nDuring the autumn se
 ason\, each of the Rahbeks saloner is followed by a meeting of our youth
