sper Løvdal and Gabriel Coburger met in New York’s vibrant jazz scene
over 30 years ago\, and have since been part of the European scene for mo
dern and creative jazz.\n\nBack in Copenhagen and Hamburg\, they met up w
ith the two Danish and very popular musicians Martin Schack on Hammond or
gan and Anders Mogensen on drums.\n\nThe compositions come from some of j
azz’s greatest musicians\, including Thelonious Monk and Wayne Shorter\
, and the music gives plenty of room for the fantastic musicians’ excit
ing interpretations and wild improvisations.\n\nGabriel Coburger is a vir
tuoso tenor saxophonist and flautist who impresses with his unique comman
d of his instrument and music\, while Jesper Løvdal plays tenor and bari
tone saxophone with soul.\n\nAt the centre\, we find Martin Scacks’ Ham
mond organ\, and Mogensen’s deeply swinging drums give the audience vib
rant and sensitive music\, full of both grand emotions and swing.\n\nLook
forward to a concert where virtuosity\, humour and spontaneity meet\, in
spired by influences from around the world.” www.paradisejazz.dk
