 nvites you to explore the depths of shame and guilt and understand the di
 fference between “there is something wrong with me” and “I have don
 e something wrong that is not in keeping with the person I want to be”.
 \n\nThe American psychologist Brené Brown\, who has researched shame for
  years\, says:\n\nFour key elements are important for building resilience
  to shame: 1. The ability to remain authentic when experiencing shame.\n\
 n2. A commitment to navigating shame without compromising our values.\n\n
 3. Emerging from the experience with greater compassion and connection th
 an before.\n\n4. Moving from shame to self-compassion\, recognising that 
 shame cannot survive when it is brought into the light and met with compa
 ssion and understanding.\n\nIn this workshop\, we will also explore pract
 ical steps for moving through shame with self-compassion. Shame is a soci
 al wound that requires social healing. When we are met with empathy\, sha
 me fades\, allowing us to connect deeply and meaningfully.\n\nThrough thi
