DESCRIPTION:Steffen Brandt is best known as the frontman of the band TV-2
 \, which was formed 45 years ago.\n\nHe has written both the lyrics and m
 usic for all the group’s songs\, and his flair for writing songs with a
 n edge and charm has been a major factor in the band’s popularity.\n\nB
 uilding on the minimalist new rock of the 1980s\, TV-2 developed into one
  of Denmark’s most popular bands\, and they remain so today — without
  losing their sharpness.\n\nTheir style is characterised by double meanin
 gs\, irony and self-irony\, and a well-developed knack for seeing straigh
 t through the trends of the day.\n\nBut the songs also revolve around lif
 e’s great questions: life\, death and love.\n\nIn Steffen Brandt\, the 
 group has one of Denmark’s most understated and effective performers.\n
 \nAs a Danish lyricist\, Steffen Brandt has shaped the Danish language wi
 th his colloquial\, ironic yet always affectionately critical and questio
 ning songs.\n\nHis undeniable linguistic talent has enriched the Danish p
 eople and the Danish language\, and in 2003 he deservedly received the Da
 nish Language Society’s language award for his contribution to the Dani
 sh language.\n\nSteffen Brandt has also written songs for a wide range of
  Danish artists\, including News\, Ray Dee Ohh\, Sanne Salomonsen and Lis
  Sørensen.\n\nSince 2001\, Steffen Brandt has organised a series of out-
