SUMMARY:Cool Climate Wine Festival - 20% Early Bird until 30.09.
LOCATION:Øksnehallen\, Halmtorvet 11\, 1700 København
DESCRIPTION:Wine tasting in Copenhagen with around 180 wine producers\n\n
Producer list\n\nWhat is cool climate wine?\n\nCool climate refers to win
e regions at the very limits of where grapes can be grown for wine. Cool
summers\, long daylight hours and high natural acidity in the grapes. The
result is wines with freshness\, precision and an aromatic finesse that
warmer regions rarely achieve.\n\nThese are also the regions developing f
astest right now. The climate is shifting\, and Europe’s wine map is sh
ifting with it. Some of the most interesting wines in recent years come f
rom places few people associate with wine. At Cool Climate Wine Festival\
, you can taste them side by side in a single afternoon.\n\nMeet the prod
ucers behind the bottles\n\nWhat sets this wine tasting in Copenhagen apa
rt from most others is that there is a wine producer behind every table.
Not an importer\, not a salesperson. You can ask about everything from so
il and harvest to why a vintage tastes the way it does\, and get answers
from the person who made the decisions in the vineyard and the cellar.\n\
nFor many of the producers\, the festival is also one of the few occasion
s when they present their wines in Denmark.\n\nPractical information\n\nD
 ate: Sunday 17 January 2027\n\nTime: 14.00–18.00\n\nVenue: Øksnehallen
 \, Halmtorvet 11\, 1700 København V\n\nNumber of producers: 180\n\nØksn
ehallen is a few minutes’ walk from Copenhagen Central Station and is e
asy to reach by train\, metro and bus. No prior knowledge of wine is requ
ired — come as you are.…
