DESCRIPTION:Bring your dreams and messages to life with needle and thread
  at Broderisalon with artist Julie Andkjær Olsen at Kulturhuset Islands 
 Brygge.\n\nWe meet with or without prior experience\, experiment\, gain e
 xperience and learn from one another. It is not an old-fashioned sewing s
 chool\, but rather a shared space for immersion\, handicrafts and inspira
 tion.\n\nPractical information\n\nAdmission is DKK 40 and includes fabric
 \, yarn and a needle – and coffee if you bring your own cup. You are we
 lcome to bring your own embroidery and materials. Broderisalon is for eve
 ryone\, beginners and experienced embroiderers alike. Julie Andkjær Olse
 n works across many artistic fields\, including as a musician\, dancer an
 d visual artist. In 2012\, she published the book ‘have og helvede’ w
 ith her sister\, combining embroidery\, collage and watercolour.\n\nAutum
 n 2026 dates: 29/9\, 27/10 and 24/11\n\nAll sessions 6.30–9 pm
