Sightseeing & Guided Tours

groupsSightseeing tours

Choose between a number of sightseeing tours: by bus, bus and boat combined, and boat. Coaches will take you for instance for an excursion to “the Hamlet castle” in Elsinore, or to nearby Sweden.
  • City Tour of Copenhagen that lasts 1.5 hours will give you a good introduction to the city.
  • The 2.5 hour long grand tour of Copenhagen by bus includes royal palaces and changing of the Guard. Daily, all year round.
  • DFDS Canal & Harbour Tours depart every half hour (April to mid-October, daily), you can choose a guided tour or a waterbus without a guide. Boats depart from either Gammel Strand or Nyhavn. There are also one-hour guided tours available all year round, provided both by DFDS and Netto-bådene. Wintertime the boats are glass roofed and heated.
  • Hop on-hop off gives you freedom to explore the city: A tour in an open-top original English double-decker is in summer a natural choice, especially in such a green cit as Copenhagen. A ticket is valid all day; there are also two days tickets for all three lines.

There is more:
A personal guide from Nightlife Friend will reveal for you a hottest spots on the city’s nightlife scene during weekend (max 5 persons).

Københavns Hestedrosche arranges horse and carriage tours (up to 5 persons) in Copenhagen.
As Copenhagen is compact in size, a walking tour - accompanying for instance old night watchmen on their tours, or choosing a historic theme for a tour, will be a superb way of getting to know the city. Guided bicycle tours are also available. Are you fond of bicycles but you’d prefer to let others do the hard work, hire a rickshaw. Would you prefer to see the Copenhagen a healthy way – join a jogging tour (joggingtours.dk), or a kayak tour (kajakole.com) - KajakOle offers guided trips by kayak through Christianhavn’s canals and Copenhagen Harbour.

Copenhagen has ideas for every taste!
