· Taxi:

The city has more than 1,700 taxis organised in 5 major companies and licensed by the authorities. The basic fare for a cab stopped on street is DKK 19 (40 DKK during a weekend's night), when ordered 32, plus DKK 11,50 per km - DKK 12.50 in evenings and weekends. Fares include a service charge, so tipping is not expected.
Most taxis accept credit cards but make sure to tell the driver at the beginning of the journey. The seat belt for all passengers of age 3+ is required. Smoking is prohibited.

There are no area code numbers in Denmark.
Public telephone booths
Public pay phones accept coins or prepaid Telecards. Just lift the receiver and insert your card or your coin. For international calls use 5-20 DKK, but please note no money refund whether connected or not.
Telephone cards come in denominations of 30, 50 and 100 DKK and are available from kiosks and post offices.

· Train: It's easy to travel by train to and from Copenhagen. You'll find direct trains to Sweden, Germany and other Scandinavian and international destinations at reasonable prices. The Öresund train from the centre of Copenhagen to the centre of Malmö, Sweden, take approx. 35 minutes.

· TV / Film: Cable- and satellite-TV is widely spread in Denmark, so it's easy to get access to channels with languages as English, German, Spanish etc.
Movies on TV or at the cinema have subtitles and are not dubbed which makes it possible for you to watch them in their original version.
